NEWS: Old Man’s Journey strides onto Switch 20th February

Developed by Broken Rules, multiple award-winning emotional puzzle adventure Old Man’s Journey is a story-based game that tells a story of life, loss and hope. The game is going to be released on the Nintendo Switch on the 20^th of February. Switch-exclusive features include HD Rumble support, multiple control options and a brand new 2 player mode.

With a beautifully-handcrafted art style fitting to its touching, relatable narrative, Old Man’s Journey looks to be an adventure worth experiencing. The game promises a visual story about life itself; about changing plans, about failures, broken dreams and memories. Gamers will solve puzzles to unlock important exposition on the old man’s life, told through impressively-created handcrafted vignettes.

The art design is astounding and beautiful, showing off vivid colours in a style that looks not out of place in a painting in a museum. The game’s story appears promising also, appearing to present a candid, complex tale of an old man’s life. The trailer appears uplifting and tugs at the right heartstrings.
