NEWS: Meaty Platformer Bacon Man releases March 8th

Hungry fans of tough platforming and meat-based characters will find Bacon Man an appetising 2D platformer. The game will be launching on Steam next month and promises to offer a plateful of food-pun humour and platforming akin to, fittingly enough, Super Meat Boy, but with extra flavour from the likes of Earthworm Jim and Metroid.
In the run up to release, Sky Map Games has brought out a new trailer showing the various characters playable in Bacon Man; Feta, a mysterious, sage (get it?) personality, Pan, and Bacon Man’ best friend, Lard Lass.

The gameplay of Bacon Man will be focused around platforming and boss battles, with enemies based on different kinds of food. There will also be a level-up system in place allowing players to unlock new abilities and methods of traversal across the games hard levels. Bacon Man’ story is a humorous, pun-based food adventure promising many references to different food groups and puns.

Players looking to get their fill will find Bacon Man available on Steam on March 8th, 2018, with future releases planned for Mac, Linux and the Xbox One.
