We Were Here Too available on Steam
Fans of cooperative gaming and escape room puzzlers will be excited to know that Total Mayhem games, creators of highly-successful game We Were Here have announced a follow up puzzle game. We Were Here Too is a game focused on a unique style of cooperative puzzle solving, involving voice communication.

In the game, players are dropped into a frozen dungeon in the Antarctic armed with a walkie-talkie, allowing them to communicate over voice chat to one other player in the same situation. In order to escape, players will have to communicate and cooperate on the many puzzles they will face in their adventures.

We Were Here Too offers a flavour of Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes to the mix. This interesting take on co-op puzzle gameplay expands the communication element to a full dungeon and will lead to a wider variety of situations and puzzles for the player.

Previous experience with the game We Were Here isn’t required for players to delve into its puzzling dungeons, though considering the prequel is available as a free product, and with a 92% positive rating on Steam, many gamers may find the proposition of the previous game tempting.

We Were Here Too, on the other hand, has been released as a commercial game – it is available for 9.99 US on Steam. It’s clear that Total Mayhem Games want to expand their world and setting into an ongoing series, a step forward for a team that started out as a mix or art, design and development students.

We Were Here Too looks to be an engaging, unique and interesting puzzler that offers a cooperative experience akin to an expanded version of Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, a game already enjoyable on its own merits. With any luck, Team Mayhem will have even more success on its hands with this latest offering in the series. Perhaps We Were Also Here, for its next title?
